To Jennifer and the new babies from Mother.

I thought it only appropriate to start with a pink and blue outfit for the two babies. I can hardly wait to put all those frills and bows on that little girl. I'm stocking up on cars and trucks for the little guy. I think Max can provide him with enough trains.

Pink and Blue for the Two!!

The bathrobe is for the new mommy. I tried to get her Dad to model it for the picture but I'm afraid he is not as brave as Don was in the apron.

A New Robe for Mommy

Now, the next picture is going to have to take the place of the stroller until I actually get it. She would make her Daddy proud if she chose to use his wagon to pull them around town. However, I rather doubt she will take me up on it.

Texas Size Stroller

May I say to all you bloggers out there.....this writing and adding pictures takes a while to figure out. I felt like I was back in the office working on a big proposal for a client. My hat is off to all of you.

  1. What sweet gifts! And to include a robe for Jennifer was a great idea! There is something nice about getting a new robe when you have a new baby:)

I love the TX stroller!! Jennifer, make sure you post a picture on your blog of the real thing when it comes in.

  2. Mrs. Dunn! You did a great job posting this! I would have been a nervous wreck if my very first post ever was for something like this! I probably would have chickened out. You Dunn girls are gooood!

I love the outfits and the WAGON!!! So funny! A stroller is a great gift usually reserved for Grammy's to buy for their grandbabies. Our mother has purchased a few!

And the robe for Jennifer, VERY nice! Very thoughtful!

  3. Thank you mother!!! You've apparently been hiding some goods from me - she was always good at that around our house at Christmas. :) I love the little outfits and are those matching blankets? They are adorable and can't wait to wash them in Dreft and get them ready for the babies to wear!

HA HA on the stroller!!! When I first looked at that picture I thought daddy was giving me this for our upcoming landscaping project - you know, a man's idea of a shower gift. Girls, I think we've decided on the Baby Trend Snap N Go stroller - basically just a frame with wheels that you pop the two carseats in. I tried the other double strollers with car carriers and literally broke a sweat trying to get the car seats in, setting it up, couldn't use the basket underneath when the car carriers were in, etc. This was so easy to maneuver and a lot cheaper. We'll get a regular double stroller when they're bigger and don't have to sit in their carriers.

Let me just say that everyone needs to start praying for my mom too...she will be my full time nanny once these babies are born. Right mom? :) No seriously, I know she will be helping out A LOT for the first month or so, so she will need lots of prayers to deal with two newborns and a hormonal daughter! :)

Thanks again mother for the gifts and for diving into blog world to be part of my shower! I love you!

  4. Jennifer, let me just say that in the middle of the night when I am up with Jane, I pray for you especially, and also for Don, Max and WHOEVER your helper will be--good ole mom! When I am tired I think of you too, and say a pray. All the sleepless nights and the hormones will pass in time, and you will look back with pride and say we did it!

  5. Walking Mom, you are DESTINED TO BLOG!!!! You did so good. Actually, you need to take over Jennifer's b/c when the babies come she will be too busy and tired to blog. We are co-dependent on Mighty Max so you might have to step in.

I love all the gifts. Those outfits and that robe are GREAT!!!! You are a great momma for getting that double stroller. That will be her lifesaver. I do hope it is better condition than the wagon picture. HA!

  8. Mrs Dunn, I love your gifts! The outfits are so cute. I love the ones with the cute feet! And the matching blankets are great! The robe looks so cozy. My mom has the same wagon and takes my boys for rides in it. But it just won't do for the mall! No cupholders for your Starbucks! And no cell phone holder, or big basket underneath for all the bags! I tell everyone, I will still take my stroller to the mall even when my kids are grown. It's so helpful!

  9. Cupholders? I'll just have Jennifer's dad wire a few coffee cans on the side. We can always attach a purse somewhere for the cell phone and as far as bags; I don't think she will be out doing much shopping with babies for a long time. I'll have to add a backpact I guess.
